Product
Each test needs only a small, discrete sample: a one-metre section of full or halved drill core, or under a kilogram of crushed rock. That lets it slot straight into existing geochemical assay workflows and capture variability across the orebody. From a single test, Geopyörä measures the data needed to estimate standard comminution parameters and rock mechanical properties with high accuracy.

Product
AI models that predict comminution parameters directly from geochemistry and mineralogy. Trained on samples analysed by both the Geopyörä breakage test and routine geochem and mineralogy, the deep neural network learns the link between composition and hardness. Once trained, it estimates comminution behaviour from assay data alone, with no breakage test required.

Our in-house power model for designing comminution plants. Feed it the comminution parameters from your tested samples and Virta sizes the circuit, picks its configuration, from stage-crush and ball milling to SAG, SABC or HPGR circuits, and returns it as a simple flowsheet with the expected throughput and product size.
